Casio releases new G-Shock metal watch with unusual band across Europe

The Casio G-Shock Full Metal GMC-B2100Y-1A watch is now available in various European countries. This Bluetooth watch with an analog display is already available in other markets like the UK and Japan.

Casio is now selling the G-Shock Full Metal GMC-B2100Y-1A watch at its online store for €749. It is available in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, with Casio ID members (sign up for free here) offered free shipping with their order.

The G-Shock GMC-B2100Y-1A has Casio’s Smartphone Link Bluetooth feature, for auto time adjustment and other features through the Casio Watches app. On the watch itself, users can access a countdown timer, a 1-second stopwatch and a daily alarm. Plus, the dial can be illuminated with an LED backlight.

The GMC-B2100 series timepiece has three analog hands and a basic date display. The watch face also features three dials, one of which indicates the day of the week and another which can show the time in a second time zone. This model has an octagonal stainless steel bezel and metal casing, measuring 51.3 x 46.3 x 12.4 mm (~2.0 x 1.8 x 0.5 inches). However, the accompanying strap is made with Tough Silicone with a metal-look finish to match the case.

Casio has yet to confirm whether or not the G-Shock Full Metal GMC-B2100Y-1A watch will be released in the US.
