Casio has finally announced the US release of the G-Shock MRGB5000HT-1 watch. This premium digital watch launched in Japan and the UK in July, and is also rolling out across other European countries like Germany, where it is known as the MRG-B5000HT-1.
The Casio G-Shock MRGB5000HT-1 watch can now be found at the brand’s online store in the US. Here, it will retail for $8,000 RRP, making it the most expensive model currently listed on the website. The product page indicates that it will be released in the US at some point in September 2025, though an exact launch date has not been provided. Instead, prospective customers are encouraged to sign up for the brand’s mailing list to be notified of the launch via email.
Casio’s G-Shock MRGB5000HT-1 is a radio-controlled watch (Multiband 6) with Bluetooth connectivity. The latter provides features like auto time adjustment and reminders through the Casio Watches smartphone app. On-watch tools include a countdown timer, a 1/100th second stopwatch and five daily alarms. Plus, there is support for up to five world time zones with the home city/world time swap function.
The premium MRGB5000HT-1’s digital display is surrounded by a titanium bezel, and the watch’s band is also made from titanium. These both feature a design hand-hammered by Kazuya Watanabe, each with a unique pattern. As such, there are only 500 units available worldwide. The black watch has bronze accents, is water resistant to 200 m and offers Tough Solar charging. It measures 49.4 x 43.2 x 12.9 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 112 g (~4.0 oz).
