Three Casio G-Shock ‘Black Tone’ series watches are on the way. The GM-B2100BT-1A, GMC-B2100BT-1A and GMW-B5000BT-1 appear to be full metal analog, digital, and hybrid watches with black and silver designs.
In a recent report, Casioblog has shared some details about these upcoming G-Shock watches alongside leaked images of each. It is thought that the “BT” letters in the model numbers could mean 'Black Tone', though the series name remains unconfirmed. From their design, they look to be based on the original DW-5000C watch from the eighties.
These G-Shock Black Tones watches seem to have brushed stainless steel straps, with a black ion-plated bezel, also featuring a brushed finish. The GMC-B2100BT-1A is an analog model with a black face featuring three dials and a basic date display. The GM-B2100BT-1A hybrid watch and the GMW-B5000BT-1 digital watch both have negative (black background displays) to tie into the color scheme. These two devices also support Bluetooth connectivity and Tough Solar charging.
The Casio G-Shock GM-B2100BT-1A, GMC-B2100BT-1A and GMW-B5000BT-1 watches are expected to be released in fall 2025, though the exact launch date is unknown. Casioblog speculates that the GM-B2100BT could retail for around $550, the GMC-B2100BT for approximately $800 and the GMW-B5000BT for roughly $600.
