Casio has just introduced its new Edifice EFV160D series to the US market - this adds three new watches to the lineup of accessible stainless-steel timepieces in its Edifice family. First spotted in July 2025, the models, priced at $120 each, and are now available in the following dial variations
In Europe, another green dial variant went on sale - read more about that here.
Design and build
The EFV160D series follows a classic three-hand analog design with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Each watch features a Clous de Paris raised pyramid pattern on the dial - and has a case width of 40 mm, thickness of 10 mm, and a total weight of 110 g.
The case, bezel, and band are made from stainless steel, and the bracelet uses a one-touch three-fold clasp for the sake of convenience. Casio has equipped the series with a screw lock back and slightly domed mineral glass for bonus clarity and resilience.
Features
Despite its straightforward design, the EFV160D series gets all the necessary features. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, enough for swimming and light water activities. Inside, the watch is powered by the SR920SW battery, with an expected life of around three years. Timekeeping accuracy is rated at ±20 seconds per month. The dial layout consists of three hands - hour, minute, and second - and a date display.
At $120, these models will be great for buyers who want a reliable stainless-steel daily wearer without stepping into higher-priced Edifice chronographs or Bluetooth-connected models. They could make for great gifts as well.
