More details about the launch of a new Casio G-Shock Full Metal Series seem to have leaked. Images of the three wearables were spotted earlier in September 2025, when it was suggested that they could fall under a ‘Black Tone’ range.
Now, the dedicated Casio blog Great G-Shock World claims to have leaked the pricing and release information. It has been suggested that the new digital GMW-B5000BT-1 will retail for 88,000 yen. That is the same price as the older GMW-B5000PC-1, which retailed for €579 in Europe. Earlier rumors suggested that, should it be released in the US, it would retail for around $600. However, it could be more expensive than that, given the GMW-B5000D-1 costs $600, and is priced at 84,700 yen in Japan.
The hybrid G-Shock GM-B2100BT-1A is also said to be priced at 88,000 yen. As an indication of what it might cost in other markets, it should be more expensive than the GM-B2100D-1A, priced at 77,000 yen in Japan; it retails for $600 in the US, and £449/€549 in Europe. The G-Shock GMC-B2100BT-1A, an analog watch, will be the most expensive model in the range at 107,800 yen. That is the same price as the GMC-B2100AD-2A, which retails for $800 in the US and £739/€799 in Europe.
The Casio G-Shock Black Tone watches appear to have a black ion-plated stainless steel bezel, with black watch faces and black background digital displays. Each has a different feature set and is accompanied by a silver colored stainless steel bezel. According to Great G-Shock World’s report, the GMW-B5000BT-1, GM-B2100BT-1A and GMC-B2100BT-1A will be released in Japan in October 2025. An exact release date was not indicated, and it remains unclear whether or when these models could arrive in other markets.
