While there have been many changes at Bungie recently, a new Destiny 2 expansion will be released at the end of the year. And it could appeal to science fiction fans, as it will be directly inspired by Star Wars.
Although this expansion, called Renegades, was announced several months ago, details have only recently been revealed. From December 2, 2025, players will be able to team up with warriors who want to destroy the Barant Imperium. But it won't be easy, and there will be many challenges to overcome.
Thus, to help them in this mission, a new weapon will be made available to them. And it’s not just any, because it is directly inspired by Star Wars, and it's a lightsaber known as the Praxic Blade. Not to mention that blasters rifles will also be available.
But be careful, because these weapons will only be obtainable through contracts, which will mainly involve smuggling and bounty hunting missions. To add difficulty, a new feature will be introduced with this Destiny 2 expansion, allowing other players to invade your game in order to steal your loot.
However, while this expansion may appeal to many people, Destiny 2 is currently in a difficult situation. Players are no longer as attracted to the game as they once were, and its future seems uncertain. It will be necessary to see if this extension, already available for pre-order on Steam, will be able to attract more players, or if it will continue to lead him into his downfall.
