Hamilton has unveiled a new Khaki Field Mechanical Power Reserve mechanical watch in the global markets. Made from stainless steel, the Khaki Field Mechanical Power Reserve features a 40 mm case with a thickness of 11.95 mm (0.47 inches). Hamilton has introduced two dial versions for this field watch: black and white. The design of the dial is the same as other Khaki Fields.
The white/black dial of the Khaki Field Mechanical is adorned with hands and printed hour indices coated with old radium-colored Super-LumiNova. This time around, the company has incorporated a power reserve meter into the dial, which sits to the right of the 9 o’clock. The meter looks very similar to a bike’s fuel gauge, featuring F (full) to E (empty) markings and a small arrow, which rotates counterclockwise as the power runs down.
Speaking of powered things, the timepiece is powered by Hamilton’s new in-house developed H-23 caliber. This mechanical H-23 movement runs at a frequency of 21,600 VPH and offers 80 hours of power reserve. Furthermore, the watch has a synthetic sapphire crystal on top of the dial for durability with anti-reflection treatment on the inside. Plus, it ships with 100 m (10 bar) water resistance.
The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Power Reserve costs $1,028 on a bracelet and $945 on a fabric NATO strap. Buyers can choose from white and black dial color options. For more information, you can visit Hamilton’s official website.
