A new watch celebrating The Citizen’s 30th anniversary is on the way. The NC0201-54A is a mechanical model with a striking patterned ivory face and stainless steel casing and strap. This is a highly accurate timepiece, with only a limited number set for release later in 2025.

The Citizen NC0201-54A, a new limited edition model, has been announced. This watch, and the recently unveiled AQ4100-57C, are being released to celebrate the company’s sub-brand, The Citizen.

The NC0201-54A has a Caliber 0200 mechanical movement that is highly accurate; it is said to have an average daily accuracy of between -3 and +5 seconds. Longer-term precision is ensured with a free-sprung balance wheel, and there is also a transparent case back. When fully wound, the watch should run for around 60 hours, and it is water resistant to 5 bar.

The Citizen’s NC0201-54A has a patterned, matte dial that is ivory colored, which the company describes as “striking”. There are two analog hands for the hour and minute, with the seconds indicated on the lower dial. It has a lugless stainless steel case with a brushed finish, measuring 40 x 10.9 mm (~1.6 x 0.4 inches), accompanied by a matching strap. The dial also features The Citizen’s eagle mark and is protected by sapphire glass with an anti-reflective finish.

The Citizen NC0201-54A mechanical watch will be released on December 11th in countries worldwide. This includes the US, where the model will retail for $7,000. It is worth noting that there will only be 300 pieces available worldwide, making this a particularly exclusive timepiece.
