Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sales event is coming soon, but Apple is getting a jump start on it.
The base variant of the Cupertino Colossus' AirPods 4 is on sale for its lowest-ever price over at Amazon. Listed at $89.99, the TWS earbuds are 30% off their MSRP, coming in at just $89.99.
Note that these are the version of the AirPods 4 without Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). Springing for the AirPods 4 with ANC bumps the price $50 to $139.99, which is still a 22% discount (albeit not an all-time low).
Both models of the AirPods 4 feature a new design that is supposed to give a better fit. Styled more like the AirPods Pro, the AirPods 4 also feature Spatial Audio, Find My, and roughly 4-5 hours of listening time between charges in the case, which provides an additional 25 hours. The ANC version also supports Active Noise Cancelling, which drastically reduces external noise to better isolate the wearer's listening experience.
In our review of the AirPods 4, we found that the buds offered great sound quality and a wide range of features (some of which are mentioned above). The ANC of the more expensive model also impressed, although the battery life did not. It should also be mentioned that the AirPods are considered unrepairable, so buyers should take care of the buds.
