Honor confirms global release date for new high-end OLED tablet

Honor has now elaborated on what to expect from its next high-end Android tablet. To recap, the company announced the MagicPad 4 earlier this month. At the time, the company teased a few hardware features while also revealing what the tablet looked like.
Now, it has confirmed numerous aspects about the MagicPad 4, including a release date. Hardware-wise, the MagicPad 4 will feature a 12.3-inch OLED display paired with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. In summary, Honor has now confirmed the following hardware:
- 12.3-inch OLED, 165 Hz refresh rate
- 10,100 mAh battery (80% battery health after 1,600 charging cycles)
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
- 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage or 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage
- 13 MP rear-facing and 9 MP front-facing cameras
- IP40 dust and water resistance
All this is packed inside a 4.8 mm thick housing that weighs around 450 g. Thus, the MagicPad 4 will be lighter and thinner than even the Galaxy Tab S11 (curr. $679.99 on Amazon). Moreover, the tablet will launch with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 with the promise of six years of OS and security patch updates. Honor has not confirmed pricing yet. However, the MagicPad 4 will be available on March 2 at 09:00 UTC in Grey or White colourways. Please see Honor's website for more details.
