New version of Ayaneo's cheapest handheld appears ahead of official reveal

Last year, Ayaneo released the Pocket Air Mini as a new budget handheld with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The retro handheld is currently the brand's cheapest, with a starting price of $89.99. Now, less than six months after its release, a new version has surfaced.
The new version of the Pocket Air Mini (available on Amazon for $119.99) is actually a special edition in collaboration with B.Duck. However, this isn't the first time Ayaneo will collaborate with the Chinese brand. Just last year, it announced the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite B.Duck edition, which has 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
However, unlike the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite B.Duck edition, which has a purple finish and graffiti-like text, the Pocket Air Mini B.Duck edition is yellow, actually a gradient yellow. The handheld, as seen in a YouTube video posted by NITTRX, also has some text and images printed all over it.
The video also reveals that the B.Duck edition of the Pocket Air Mini has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The standard version with that configuration costs $99.99, so it remains to be seen if the B.Duck edition will cost extra or retain the price. Although a higher price seems likely, particularly because of the recent increase in the price of RAM and memory.
Ayaneo hasn't officially announced the device yet, but it is only a matter of time before that happens. Hopefully, this version will be available globally, and not as a China-exclusive.
