Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a Gears of War-style hack-and-slash shooter with over 150,000 positive reviews, is discounted 67% on Steam to a historic low of $19.79 until March 7, 2026.

If you’re a fan of Xbox 360-era shooters and are looking for something akin to Gears of War, you might have heard of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, which launched to critical acclaim on 9 September 2024. The $60 price tag may have kept some eager gamers at bay, but that’s changed: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is on sale for 67% off, selling at a historically low price of just $19.79 for the base game on Steam. You’ll have to act fast, though, as this sale ends on 7 March 2026.

Space Marine 2 is on sale for just $19.79, down from the usual $60 on Steam. It’s the perfect time to jump in, as Sabre Interactive has just released the latest Techmarine Update, which went live on February 26, 2026, and is free across all platforms, including Xbox Series S|X, PC, and PS5.

In an official statement, Focus Entertainment and Sabre Interactive announced, “Today’s Techmarine Update brings a free new playable class for all Space Marine 2 players, a new mission, two Season Pass 2 DLCs, and more.”

The new Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 update adds the Techmarine class, which is playable in the game’s Operations, Stratagems, Siege, and Eternal War modes. The Techmarine is positioned as a class focused on crowd control and area defense, thanks to its unique loadout and beefy auto-weapons built directly into its armor.

The new Techmarine class also comes with the Omnissian Axe for bludgeoning and hacking melee strikes to cut down swarms of foes. The Axe includes 25 perks to tinker with, letting you experiment with a range of different playstyles.

The update also adds a new PvE mission called Disruption, along with balance tweaks and new heroic weapons. Newcomers who want the full Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 experience can pick up the Season Pass 1 + 2 Bundle for 23% off, though it will cost an additional $43.13.

Season Pass 1 covers the first year of DLCs, including cosmetic packs for the Ultramarines, Dark Angels, and Space Wolves, the Neo-Volkite and Inferno Pistol, plus add-on PvE missions like “Exfiltration.”

Season Pass 2 adds DLC packs such as the Black Templars Champion and Imperial Fists cosmetics, Bulwark skin, Power Sword skin, and more than forty successor cosmetics.

Further add-ons include the Blood Angels Champion and Salamanders Cosmetic Pack, the Raven Guard Champion, Archarodans Cosmetic, and Iron Hands Chapter Pack, enabling curated loadouts and cosmetically pleasing class builds.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Update 12 also includes Chapter Voice Pack 1, which adds over 1,300 re-recorded voice lines in the unique tones of the Blood Angels, Space Wolves, and Black Templars.

For just $19.79 for the base game and $43.13 for the Season Pass 1 + 2 Bundle, players can enjoy everything Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has to offer. However, you’ll need to act fast, as this offer lasts only until 7 March 2026.

Gamers looking to get a discounted console copy can opt for an Amazon coupon for the base version, currently lowering the price to just $28.5.
