Baseus launches Spacemate RD1 Pro 15 port docking station with 160W output, Qi2.2 wireless charging

Baseus has launched the RD1 Pro docking station as part of the Spacemate lineup. It is the successor to the Spacemate RD1 (our review) from two years ago, and brings even more connectivity options. The RD1 Pro comes in a single model, unlike the Mac and Windows versions of the RD1, but it offers compatibility with both platforms.

Offering 15 connectivity options, the RD1 Pro boasts a total of 160W output with a screen to monitor power draw from different outputs. The connectivity options include:

• 2x 100W USB Type-C PD ports
• Qi2.2 25W wireless charging pad
• 2x 5 Gbps USB-A ports
• SD/TF card reader slot
• 2x 10 Gbps USB-C
• 2x 480 Mbps USB-A
• 1x HDMI 4K@60 Hz
• 1x HDMI 4K@120 Hz
• Gigabit Ethernet port
• Host USB-C port with 100W PD

It uses GaN technology for efficient power delivery to the different outputs with intelligent allocation. Depending on whether the RD1 Pro is being used for Windows or Mac, it can power multiple displays in in different modes. Baseus Spacemate RD1 Pro price and availability

The Spacemate RD1 Pro is priced at $300 and is available via Amazon and the official website. Interestingly, Amazon has had it listed for sale since June 11. Regardless, both platforms have a $60 discount running for a limited time.
