ChargeUltra G4: Multi-device bedside charger doubles as alarm clock and light

With the G4, ChargeUltra has launched a new, multifunctional multi-device charger via a Kickstarter campaign. Early backers can currently secure a unit starting at around $40, which represents a substantial discount off the planned retail price. Shipping adds between $9 and $16, with delivery scheduled for October 2026. As with any crowdfunding project, financial risks apply, though the manufacturer has a track record of successfully fulfilled campaigns.

Beyond charging, the compact unit—measuring 175 x 85 x 68 mm (6.9 x 3.3 x 2.7 inches)—doubles as a digital desk or bedside clock. It includes dual alarm functions, customizable to ring daily, on weekdays only, or six days a week. Integrated ambient lighting offers both solid colors and gradient effects with adjustable brightness levels.

The G4 can charge three devices wirelessly simultaneously, delivering up to 15 W for a smartphone, 5 W for wireless earbuds, and 2.5 W for a smartwatch. Additionally, a USB Type-C port is available, though output is capped at 10 W. Given the modest wired charging speed, the G4 is best suited for nightstand duty or overnight charging rather than high-speed top-ups at a workstation.
