Ugreen launches new iPhone lanyard cable accessory

Ugreen has launched a new USB-C to USB-C cable accessory which doubles as a lanyard. While it is primarily marketed as an iPhone accessory, it could be attached to any smartphone or another item like a wallet or keys, helping you to keep them safe when out and about.
The Ugreen USB-C to USB-C lanyard cable supports 60W PD charging and is marketed as compatible with devices requiring 18 to 45W power. For example, it could be used to charge an iPhone 17 to 60% in half an hour. As well as PD 3.0, it also supports PPS fast charging. For data transfers, it can handle a rate of up to 480 Mbps. Plus, it is advertised as offering various safety features, protecting against issues like short circuits, overcharging and overvoltage.
Ugreen’s new USB-C to USB-C cable is 1.2 m (~47.2 inches) long and has a blue braided exterior. The company suggests that you could wear the lanyard charging cable in various ways: around your neck, around your wrist, or attached to a backpack. The two ends are housed in silver-tone casing, attached to a ring, which in turn is attached to an adhesive allowing you to stick the accessory to your chosen item.
You can now buy the Ugreen USB-C to USB-C lanyard cable accessory for €18.99 at Amazon in Germany. Partially complete product listings in countries like Italy and France suggest that this accessory could be released more widely across the region in the near future. However, it is unclear whether or when it could arrive in North America.
