New Anker Power Bank with Smart Shield technology launches

The Anker Zolo Smart Shield Built-in Cable Power Bank has been launched in China. This model has arrived alongside the Nano Smart Shield Magnetic Power Bank, with both accessories featuring the brand’s new safety technology.
Anker’s Zolo Smart Shield Built-in Cable Power Bank is said to feature upgraded battery cells compared to older models from the brand; these are manufactured by Apple supplier ATL. There are dual safety protection tools, and it has been made with flame-retardant materials. It could be that Anker is promoting these features in the wake of several power bank recalls due to overheating concerns announced in 2025.
The Zolo Smart Shield Built-in Cable Power Bank can be used to charge up to three devices simultaneously. As well as the integrated USB-C cable, there is a wireless charging pad and a USB-C port. The maximum output from the accessory is 45W, and it has a 10,000 mAh capacity. Plus, its magnetic stand enables the user to find a comfortable angle to view their smartphone as it wirelessly charges.
The Anker Zolo Smart Shield Built-in Cable Power Bank will retail for CNY 199 (~$29) in China. It is set to be released in this market on March 12th. However, the company has yet to indicate whether or when it could arrive in other markets like the US. In this market, it already sells other Zolo accessories, like the Anker Zolo Power Bank (20K, 30W) (curr. $35.99 at Amazon).
