New Anker 250W Smart Desktop Charger on the way

Anker appears to be about to launch a new Prime Charger. It seems to be an upgraded version of the Anker Prime Charger (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime), released in August 2024.
A product labelled the “Anker 250W Smart Desktop Charger Pro+” recently appeared at the brand’s storefront at Chinese retailer JD.com. Expected to be part of the 2026 Anker Prime range, the accessory is said to be the first device of its kind to be compatible with all of Xiaomi and Huawei’s charging protocols.
From the sparse Anker 250W Smart Desktop Charger Pro+ listing, we know that it will offer six ports, like its predecessor. The original model’s outputs include an up to 140W USB-C port, three up to 100W USB-C ports and two up to 22.5W USB-A ports. Images of the product also confirm that it has a similar design, though with golden accents on the dark gray metallic casing. At the front is an angled display, which is expected to show charging information as well as the time and date. Plus, users will be able to control various settings using the knob on the right hand side of the device.
Anker is expected to launch the 250W Smart Desktop Charger Pro+ in China on March 9th with a CNY 1,159 (~$169) RRP. The company has yet to announce any plans to release its new charging accessory in other countries, such as the US. Here, the original Anker Prime Charger (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime) retails for $149.99 (curr $99.98 at Amazon).
