Razer introduces laptop sleeve featuring dual MagSafe charging pads

Razer’s latest laptop sleeve strives to reduce the need for carrying extra charging cables. Opening it up reveals two Qi charging coils integrated into its cover flap. When the sleeve is connected to a USB-C charger with at least 30 watts of output, the lower coil delivers up to 15 watts for smartphones, while the upper coil provides 5 watts for accessories such as Apple AirPods (available for $229 on Amazon).
Razer opted not to equip the sleeve with a built-in power bank or a second USB-C port. As a result, charging a laptop simultaneously requires either plugging in a second charging cable or connecting the sleeve to the laptop itself. Thanks to MagSafe support, both charging pads can magnetically hold compatible smartphones, such as the iPhone 17, in place for perfect coil alignment.
The sleeve is made from woven polyester for enhanced durability, while its microfibre inner lining helps prevent scratches. The sleeve is relatively heavy at 410 g (0.90 lb) due to its charging pads, which are finished in PU leather. A slightly lighter, more affordable version without charging pads is also available, weighing 350 g (0.77 lb).
Price and availability
Priced at $129.99, the Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with integrated Qi charger is available now on Razer’s online shop. The version without wireless charging retails for $79.99.
