Razer Boomslang gaming mouse launching soon but will cost more than an Apple iPhone 17 Pro

The Razer Boomslang was officially announced back in December. The mouse marks the 20th anniversary of Razer’s first gaming mouse and is limited to 1,337 units worldwide. Razer has now confirmed the launch date and pricing. In Europe, the mouse can be ordered directly from Razer starting on Wednesday, February 11.
With only 1,337 units available, the gaming mouse might sell out quickly, assuming buyers are willing to pay the extremely high price. The mouse costs $1,337, which makes it more expensive than some gaming laptops. Even flagship smartphones like the Apple iPhone 17 Pro cost less than the Razer Boomslang.
Razer primarily justifies the high price with the strictly limited number of units, as each mouse is individually numbered. Once the edition sells out, the Boomslang is not expected to be available in this exact form again. Either way, the box includes the mouse, a matching Razer Mouse Dock Pro, a carrying holster, and an LED display frame that shows the mouse’s individual components.
From a technical perspective, the mouse is up to date and features a second-generation Razer Focus Pro sensor with 45,000 DPI, an 8,000Hz wireless polling rate via Razer HyperPolling, optical switches that are rated for 100 million clicks, and a total of eight programmable buttons. Lastly, the mouse is designed for both right-handed and left-handed users.
