Oppo has started rolling out the stable ColorOS 16 update, based on Android 16, to nine more smartphones this month. The roughly 3.39GB update is arriving in phases across several Reno, F, and K series devices through mid-March.

Oppo has announced stable ColorOS 16 rollout for a fresh batch of phones, bringing the Android 16-based update to nine additional smartphones throughout March. The Chinese OEM shared the update schedule in a post on the Oppo Community forums, confirming a staggered rollout that spans multiple devices across its Oppo F, Reno, and K lineups.

The rollout kicked off with the Oppo F31 Pro series and Oppo K13x last week, with the company planning to expand the highly anticipated Android 16 update to seven more phones in the coming days. The complete list of devices confirmed to receive ColorOS 16 this month is as follows:

  • Oppo F31 Pro+ (March 5, 2026)
  • Oppo F31 Pro (March 5, 2026)
  • Oppo K13x (March 6, 2026)
  • Oppo Reno12 F (March 10, 2026)
  • Oppo Reno12 FS (March 10, 2026)
  • Oppo Reno11 FS (March 10, 2026)
  • Oppo K12x (March 10, 2026)
  • Oppo F31 (March 17, 2026)

As usual with major Android updates, this will be a staged rollout, so not every device will see the update immediately. As per OTA screenshots shared by Oppo users, the update weighs around 3.39GB. If you own any of the above devices and haven't been greeted with an OTA notification yet, you can try manually checking for the update by heading to Settings > System & Updates > Software Update.

ColorOS 16 brings along a ton of new features, including a refreshed UI inspired by the “interplay of light and shadow” found in nature, which gives the system a cleaner and more modern look. It also adds a new Seamless Animation system, which aims to make navigation, app launches, and multitasking feel more fluid.

On the customization front, the Flux Home Screen lets users resize app icons and folders into different shapes and sizes while automatically adjusting the layout around them. ColorOS 16 also brings a redesigned Always-On Display experience and a bunch of generative AI tools for summarizing notes and editing photos, but these will likely not be available on some of the older models.
