Realme P4 Lite 5G goes official with a large 7,000 mAh battery and 144 Hz display

Realme has been launching budget-focused smartphones one after another in its P4 lineup. The latest member, Realme P4 Lite 5G, joins the P4 lineup, bringing a decent set of features for the price. The device comes as a rebranded version of the recently launched Realme C83, in case you are curious. This means both devices share very identical specifications. However, design-wise, Realme slightly tweaked the rear design of the smartphone by incorporating a mosaic look.
Inside, the Realme P4 Lite 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage with room for storage expansion via microSD card. The software side is covered by Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. As for software support, the company has promised to offer two major OS upgrades (up to Android 18) and three years of security patches. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy M17e offers a straight six years of software support, despite costing slightly less than the P4 Lite 5G.
The smartphone sports a 6.8-inch display that delivers a 1570 x 720 pixel resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits. It boasts a large 7,000 mAh battery with support for only 15 W wired charging. On top of this, the device also has bypass and reverse OTG charging support. There’s a dual rear camera setup at the back, featuring a 13 MP primary camera paired with an unknown sensor.
Other features include a 5 MP front snapper, an airflow vapor chamber with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 5 support.
Available in mosaic blue and mosaic green colorways, the Realme P4 Lite 5G starts at INR 12,999 (~$140) for the base 4 GB + 64 GB variant, while the 6 GB + 128 GB is priced at INR 15,999 (~$171). It will be available for sale from March 25 via Realme’s official website and other authorized retail partners.
