Leak reveals HMD Crest 2 and Crest 2 Pro specs and renders

HMD seems to be ready to expand its Crest line of smartphones as a leak has revealed the specs of the Crest 2 and Crest 2 Pro smartphones. The leak also includes images of the two upcoming HMD smartphones.
Posted on X by smashx_60, the leaked specs show that the HMD Crest 2 and HMD Crest 2 Pro will share several key specs. However, the pro model will have better cameras, more RAM, and a higher refresh rate.
The HMD Crest 2 and HMD Crest 2 Pro will both have a 6.78-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, but while the Crest 2's screen refreshes at 90Hz, the Crest 2 Pro will have a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the two devices is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor that is paired with 6GB RAM on the standard version and 8GB of RAM on the pro model. Storage capacity for both models is 256GB.
HMD will equip the two devices with triple rear cameras — a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP configuration on the Crest 2 and a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP setup on the Crest 2 Pro. The Crest 2 Pro will also have a 50MP front-facing camera, but there's no mention of the front camera of the Crest 2.
According to the source, the Crest 2 and Crest 2 Pro will have a 6,000mAh battery capacity with support for 33W fast charging. This is an upgrade over the 5,000mAh battery inside the HMD Crest and Crest Max. Other features mentioned are dual speakers, Nokia OZO audio, dual microphones, and an IP65 dust and water resistance rating. The HMD Crest 2 and HMD Crest 2 Pro will ship with Android 16.
The images of the phones show a flat frame, a centered-punch hole for the front-facing camera, and a slightly protruding squircle camera island. The HMD Crest 2 is shown in Green, Blue, and Purple while the HMD Crest 2 Pro is expected to launch in Blue, Green, and Pink/Peach.
Both phones are expected to launch in India where the previous Crest smartphones are sold. However, when they will be announced and how much they will cost remain unknown.
