The Uperfect Uplays C10 is a new portable monitor that offers a high 4K resolution and can also be connected with a single cable. The included cover doubles as a stand, but the monitor can also be mounted on a compatible monitor arm.
Uperfect is expanding its lineup with another model, or more specifically, is already offering another portable monitor called the Uplays C10. The screen can be ordered from Banggood for roughly $260. As usual, it will likely be difficult to effectively enforce warranty rights and additional shipping or import fees may apply depending on the shipping address.
In any case, the monitor is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 3840 x 2160 resolution, so the image should look very sharp. Compared with a mini-LED or OLED panel, users should expect some limitations in terms of contrast and brightness. Brightness is rated at 340 nits, and Uperfect lists a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. According to the manufacturer, the panel fully covers the sRGB color space and has 8-bit color depth.
AMD FreeSync is supported and can synchronize the display refresh rate with the current fps. That said, the 4K monitor only has a rather basic refresh rate of 60Hz. It measures 12.8 x 8.2 x 0.6 inches and can be mounted on VESA brackets, but this won’t always be necessary since the protective cover also serves as a stand. Meanwhile, the mini-HDMI port can be used for video input and a USB cable must be hooked up to power the display. A single-cable setup via USB-C is also possible but requires a corresponding device.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
