New robot mower promises 1 cm edge cutting and significant launch savings

The Goalker H3 Pro, a brand-new robotic mower, launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter yesterday. Prices start at just $599/€515 thanks to discounts of up to 56% off the future retail price. The package includes the robotic mower and nine replacement blades, and VIPs will also receive two years of 4G service and a four-year warranty. However, as always, the usual risks of crowdfunding should be kept in mind.
The Goalker H3 Pro is another wireless robotic mower competing for customers for the 2026 gardening season. Shipping to Kickstarter backers is scheduled to begin in May 2026. Unlike traditional models, this one does not rely on boundary wires for navigation, but instead uses RTK & VSLAM Fusion Navigation. However, this requires an RTK antenna in the garden, which other modern LiDAR-based mowers, such as the Navimow i2 LiDAR (starting at approx. €1,000 on Amazon), can even do without.
The Goalker H3 Pro is equipped with a 3D Vision Matrix based on dual front-facing RGB cameras. It is designed to reliably detect over 200 different obstacles, such as hedgehogs, toys and similar items. Furthermore, according to the manufacturer, the mower can be ready for use within 10 minutes. However, the most notable feature is located on the underside.
The floating mower deck has a cutting width of 18 cm and can be adjusted to a cutting height between 2.5 and 6 cm. It can also be shifted for edge mowing. According to the manufacturer, this enables edge cutting with a clearance of just 1 cm. Goalker notes that safe operation is ensured via side sensors, supported by TÜV Rheinland certification. According to the data sheet, the Goalker H3 Pro can handle inclines of up to 35 percent.
