Beams Boy Ring Watch shrinks Timex Camper, improves fit through stretchable design

The Japanese fashion label Beams apparently wants to build on the success of the Casio Ring Watch and the Timex x MM6 Ring Watch. The latest ring watch is based on a classic Timex Camper wristwatch ($43 on Amazon), and therefore uses an analog dial instead of a digital one.
The hour, minute and second hands are fully functional, as is the crown, which is used to set the time. The full technical specifications have not yet been published, but it is likely to be a quartz watch that requires a battery. The case is made of synthetic resin and the dial is protected from scratches by acrylic glass. The "bracelet" is perhaps the most interesting part of the case
This is because it is made of stainless steel and the individual elements are connected by a stretchy band. This should make the Ring Watch suitable for fingers on which a ring in US ring sizes 9 to 15 is usually worn. However, it is not possible to remove a link of the bracelet to make it suitable for even smaller fingers. The Timex x Beams Boy Ring Watch will be launched in April to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Beams store in Harajuku, Japan.
