Apple's unpopular FineWoven protective cases for the iPhone 15 Pro get a luxury makeover in Hermès leather
Apple now hardly offers any leather accessories - most wristbands for the Apple Watch and all original protective cases for the iPhone 15 Pro have been replaced by fabric. However, the 'FineWoven' protective cases, which cost $59, have proven to be far less robust than their leather predecessors.
Caviar is now addressing the problem by wrapping Apple's fine fabric protective cases in the same leather used to make the Birkin bags from luxury fashion label Hermès. This material is said to feel softer than Apple's FineWoven fabric, while being more robust and more durable at the same time. The design is complemented by a Caviar logo made of 24-carat gold. Unlike Apple's protective cases, the buttons on the frame have been simply left out and are therefore not protected from scratches.

Despite the high price, the manufacturer is only offering a one-year warranty. Caviar is offering the case for the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
