Xiaomi releases new budget TWS earbuds with global launch incoming

Xiaomi has released a new pair of earbuds across Europe following a recent leak. To recap, the Redmi Buds 8 Active leaked about a month ago. Since then, Xiaomi launched those earbuds in China with a choice of Matte Black, Milky White and Translucent Blue finishes.
Now, the company has confirmed that the Redmi Buds 8 Active are set to receive a global release. Xiaomi has not confirmed full global release plans for the time being. However, it has listed the Redmi Buds 8 Active on its global website with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart.

Sitting below the Redmi Buds 8 Lite in Xiaomi's product line, the Redmi Buds 8 Active features 14.2 mm titanium-coated drivers that provide a 20 Hz-20 kHz frequency response. While Xiaomi has included a customisable EQ, the Redmi Buds 8 Active only support AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs without any active noise cancellation (ANC). Still, the earbuds boast up to 7 hours of battery life between charges and 37 hours without needing to recharge their charging case.
The same earbuds have reached parts of Europe too for €19.99. Specifically, we have found official listings across Xiaomi's Austrian, German, French, Italian and Spanish websites. Incidentally, the earbuds are already available in the US via a reseller for $33.99 on Amazon. Please see Xiaomi's global website for more hardware details.
