Bowers & Wilkins presents new color variants for the acclaimed Pi8 and Px7 S3 headphones

Bowers & Wilkins has announced a color refresh for two of its premium headphone lines - both the Pi8 true wireless earbuds and the Px7 S3 over-ear headphones (curr. $450 on Amazon) get new finishes. The update does not bring any hardware changes, though. This launch is more about expanding the design options across both product categories.
The two new finishes for the Pi8 are Pale Mauve and Dark Burgundy. These join the already existing lineup of Anthracite Black, Midnight Blue, Dove White, and Jade Green - this brings the total number of available colorways to six. The Px7 S3, meanwhile, scores a new Vintage Maroon option, taking its total to five colors alongside Canvas White, Anthracite Black, Indigo Blue, and Frost Blue.
From a purely specifications standpoint, nothing has changed. The Pi8 will still be Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship true wireless model, intended for high-resolution wireless audio support, active noise cancellation, and a special focus on sound tuning that favors clarity and separation in music. The Px7 S3 is the brand’s latest over-ear ANC headphone, following earlier Px7 generations with updated drivers, improved ANC, and more industrial design.
This kind of mid-cycle refresh is consistent with how Bowers & Wilkins has handled its past headphone lineup. Instead of repetitive hardware launches, the company extends product lifecycles through updates like new finishes or limited editions. The Px7 line itself has seen multiple iterations - from the original Px7 to Px7 S2 and now S3.
Pricing for the new colorways will be unchanged. The new Px7 S3 Vintage Maroon and both Pi8 color variants are available from March 19 at €429 (or 399 CHF), which roughly translates to $494.
