Anker Soundcore Space 2 headphones: Leak reveals upgraded battery life but a higher price tag

It has been a few years since Anker released the Soundcore Space One headphones, and while they did get a pro model in 2024, it is undeniable that the affordable pair of headphones are due for a successor. It turns out that might happen soon, as a leak has revealed not only the specs of the Soundcore Space 2/Space Two, but also when they will launch and how much they will cost.
The info comes from the X account, AnkerInsider, which is known for posting Anker-related leaks. According to the source, the Soundcore Space 2 will have the model number “D1402”. The headphones will have 40mm double-layer diaphragm drivers, three microphones, and 4-stage low-frequency noise cancellation.
Like the Space One (available on Amazon for $99.99), the leak also reveals the Soundcore Space 2 will support LDAC for Hi-Res Wireless Audio, as well as wear detection. In addition, the headphones will feature Bluetooth 6.1 and support for Bluetooth Multipoint.
With respect to battery life, the Space Two will last longer than the previous generation as the leak says they will provide 50 hours of playtime with ANC on and 70 hours with ANC turned off (at 50% volume). For comparison, the Soundcore Space One have a battery life of 40 hours with ANC on and 55 hours with ANC off. Charging is via USB-C, and a 5-minute charge will provide 4 hours of playtime.
The Soundcore Space 2 will weigh 264 grams, 5 grams more than the Space One. When they launch on April 21 in the United States, they will retail for $129.99, an increase from the $99.99 price tag of the previous generation. Available colors are revealed to be Jet Black, Linen White, and Seafoam Green.
