Philips' The Ringo retro on-ear headphones get a color refresh

Last year, Philips launched a pair of on-ear headphones under its 2000 series of wireless on-ear headphones called The Ringo. The retro-inspired headphones with modern features have been available to buy since then in three colors, but a new 80s-inspired color has put the spotlight back on them.
Philips is planning to revive its Moving Sound range of audio products from the 1980s, and while there are new products among them, there's also a new version of The Ringo included. The new version of the on-ear headphones is dubbed The Ringo Duo according to What Hi-Fi?, and it will be available in a bright yellow colorway. The Ringo announced last October comes in Black, Teal, and White.
The Ringo Duo has an adjustable silver headband, black earcups, and mint green physical buttons, while the wire connecting both earcups together is neon pink. These colors are replicated across the new Moving Sound range of products.
Save for the color change, Philips' The Ringo Duo has the same features as the standard The Ringo. They boast 40mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.4 with support for Bluetooth Multipoint, and a battery life of up to 26 hours with fast charge support.
There's also a dedicated microphone for calls and a noise-reduction algorithm to reduce background noise and support for USB-C audio. Users will be able to tune the headphones, activate dynamic boost, and update the headphones' firmware with the Philips Headphones app.
The Ringo Duo will be available in the second quarter of 2026 with a price tag of €35, but if you don't want to wait, you can purchase The Ringo at a discounted price of €25.05 on Amazon.de.
