Leak details affordable Redmi wireless earbuds with 37-hour battery life ahead of global launch

Xiaomi seems to be preparing to launch another version of the Redmi Buds 8. This new pair of wireless earbuds, with the Active suffix in the model, is set to be more affordable than the Lite variant (€22.99 on Amazon.de) and will reportedly feature a semi-in-ear design.
As a new leak from YTechB suggests, the Redmi Buds 8 Active adopt an open-fit structure, similar to the Apple AirPods 4, and just like Apple's budget-friendly wireless earbuds, there's ANC. However, it's unclear how good the noise cancellation will be, but the leaked spec sheet suggests that the battery life will be a big highlight.
With the ANC turned off, the earbuds will reportedly offer up to 7 hours of playtime, while with the case, the total runtime will stand at 37 hours. This leaked spec sheet also suggests that the earbuds won't take long to get fully charged. Like the Redmi Buds 8 Lite, the Active are expected to come with Bluetooth 5.4, but there's no mention of any high-resolution Bluetooth codec support.
YTechB adds that the Buds 8 Active will come with a 14.2mm dynamic driver setup and dual-mic AI call noise reduction. There will reportedly be support for Google Fast Pair, multipoint connectivity, and fast charging support. The wireless earbuds will reportedly cost €19.99 in the EU, but there's no concrete word on when they might launch.
