New OnePlus 15T specifications leak reveals a downgraded display

In a few days, OnePlus will unveil a successor to its 2025 compact flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13T. The new phone, which will launch as the OnePlus 15T, has appeared in numerous leaks. There have also been a handful of official teasers. Ahead of the launch, a reliable source has provided the full technical specifications of the smartphone.
The OnePlus 15T will have a 6.32-inch display like its predecessor. However, unlike the OnePlus 13T which uses an LTPO ( Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) panel, Digital Chat Station, who is the source, says the OnePlus 15T switches to an LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) panel. This is cheaper and less-power efficient than an LTPO panel.
On the bright side, the display which has a 1.5K resolution and is surrounded by bezels that are super slim at 1.1mm, has a 165Hz refresh rate, a bump from the 120Hz refresh rate of its predecessor.
Powering the OnePlus 15T is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the same chipset inside the larger OnePlus 15 flagship (available on Amazon for $899.99). There's a 16MP front-facing camera, and on the back are two 50MP sensors with optical image stabilization. The primary rear camera has a 1/1/56'' sensor size while the second sensor is a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.
The OnePlus 15T will have a massive 7,500mAh battery capacity, dwarfing the OnePlus 13T's 6,260mAh battery. It will also support 100W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The OnePlus 13T charges at up to 80W and lacks support for wireless charging. OnePlus already has a handful of wireless charging accessories for the OnePlus 15T.
Other features mentioned by the leaker include a metal frame, glass on both sides, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an x-axis motor, and a quadruple IP rating (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K). It is also heavier at 194 grams, compared to the 185 grams of the OnePlus 13T.
The OnePlus 16T will ship with ColorOS 16 with several AI features. Unfortunately, there's no news of an international release.
