Oppo released the Watch X2 Mini globally last year running Wear OS. Offered as a cheaper alternative to the Watch X2, the Watch X2 Mini is set to be replaced with a more compact alternative to the Watch X3, according to new rumours.

Oppo has now started officially teasing the release of its next high-end smartwatch. Adopting a more luxurious appearance than the Galaxy Watch Ultra or Apple Watch Ultra 2 (curr. $414 - refurbished on Amazon), the Watch X3 should be launching later this month alongside the Find N6 and Find X9 Ultra.

The Watch X3 may not be Oppo's only high-end smartwatch release of 2026, though. According to leaker Experience more, Oppo is also preparing to replace the Watch X2 Mini with a direct successor. Writing on Weibo, the popular account alleges that the Watch X3 Mini may be joined by other devices like the Enco Clip 2, as well as new smartphones, tablets and other wearables.

Currently, Experience more estimates that the Watch X3 Mini will arrive in April. Unfortunately, more details are unknown for now, including how the Watch X3 will differ from its predecessor. The Watch X3 Mini should be noticeably smaller than the regular Watch X3, though. Also, the Watch X3 Mini should receive a global release too if the Watch X2 Mini is anything to go by. For reference, Oppo currently sells the Watch X2 Mini for £299 in the UK and €259 in the Eurozone, down from a €329 MSRP.
