Multiple Garmin smartwatches to get new stable update soon with improved strength and HIIT activity experiences

Yesterday, Garmin released a rather strange update for the Fenix 8 and co in the form of Beta Version 21.34. While the company promoted the beta build as introducing new improvements, it actually contained the same changelog as the firmware that landed a few days earlier.
Now, it has begun offering Beta Version 21.35 to the same smartwatches. Please note that this update also excludes the Fenix 8 Pro (curr. $1,199 on Amazon) and other Pro-branded smartwatches. Also, the new update contains the same changelog as Beta Version 21.34 and Beta Version 21.32 before that. However, Beta Version 21.35 enables Aviation, Dive and ECG features.
Typically, Garmin only re-enable these features when it is ready to transition beta testing to its stable software branch. Hence, we would expect to see System Software 21.35 to arrive within the next few days as a replacement for System Software 21.25 and 21.27 in the case of the Tactix 8. Whether this also replaces System Software 21.30 for the Micro LED version of the Fenix 8 Pro remains to be seen at this point, though. Recent beta changes are as follows:
- Fixed issue where gear could not be assigned to all sports within a multisport activity.
- Fixed issue where only one goal alert was shown per day.
- Fixed issue where strength activities would show a black data screen on solar devices.
- Fixed issue where the sports scores glance is missing from Quatix 8 series.
- Fixed issue where the user would be instructed to set up Assistance after already doing so.
- Fixed issue where the weight tracking glance is missing from Tactix 8 Solar and Quatix 8 series.
- Fixed LTE searching/standby banner popping too frequently.
- Fixed possible crash when using the HIIT activity.
- Improved Course Planner performance.
