Permanent price cut: High-end Garmin smartwatch with satellite and cellular connectivity now cheaper in more countries

Garmin has now discounted the MicroLED version of the Fenix 8 Pro in more markets. To recap, the company took $300 off this SKU last month in the US. While the company did not officially announce this change, this $1,699 pricing has remained ever since.
A month on, and the company has silently dropped the price of its only MicroLED smartwatch in Europe, too. For instance, Garmin now sells the Fenix 8 Pro for €1,799 in the Eurozone rather than €2,099 that was charged since the device's launch last September. As a result, the MicroLED version retails for €500 more than its AMOLED-backed counterpart (curr. $1,199.99 on Amazon).
Meanwhile, a £300 gap now exists between Fenix 8 Pro variants in the UK, with the MicroLED variant having dropped to £1,499.99. Seemingly, these price changes are permanent too, considering that Garmin does not mention either being a sale price. Please note that Garmin only offers the Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED as a 51 mm smartwatch. More details about the Fenix 8 Pro and its optional 4,500-nit display can be found in our launch article.
