New Garmin wearable set to launch in March 2026

A new Garmin wearable is expected to launch in the near future. Recent rumors from a couple of sources point to a release in late March 2026, which could be a leaked smart band or a previously unseen smartwatch.
A recent report by the5krunner suggests that the upcoming wearable is the Garmin CIRQA Smart Band. This device was leaked on the Garmin Canada website in January 2026 and has since been spotted in filings at the FCC. According to the5krunner, reputable source DC Rainmaker has hinted at “some goodness coming next week”. Plus, a second unnamed Garmin contact has also confirmed that a “significant drop” is on the way.
However, the suggestion that the CIRQA is the next Garmin wearable for release is contradicted by u/Due-Neighborhood-944 on Reddit. This source indicates that they have ”talked to some Garmin folks” who have pointed to a “late Q2” release for the smart band, which could be May or June 2026.
An alternative suggestion for the upcoming Garmin wearable is the Forerunner 170 smartwatch. Yet to be officially acknowledged by the brand, this rumored device would be a follow-up to the Forerunner 165, which launched in 2024. If it were to be released in late March 2026, it would arrive less than a year later than the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 (curr. from $714.99 at Amazon) smartwatches. Fans will have to wait until w/b 23rd March to see what Garmin has in store.
