Multiple Garmin smartwatches now receiving unofficial stable update

Garmin has officially announced beta version 21.39 for the Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3, Fenix E, Tactix 8 AMOLED and Tactix 8 Solar smartwatches. It arrives a few days after the company released the beta version 21.38 update for these wearables.
The release notes for beta version 21.39, shared by a Garmin representative in a forum post, are identical to those for the earlier beta version 21.38 update. This change log notes fixes for potential smartwatch crashes linked to the use of headphones or the HIIT activity. The software is also said to tackle issues linked to goal alerts, strength activities and the sports scores glances. Plus, it improves the performance of the Course Planner tool. You can find the complete change log below.
Interestingly, multiple users of the Garmin Fenix 8 and related smartwatches have reported receiving this update, despite not being enrolled in the beta program. This suggests that software version 21.39 is in fact a stable release rather than a beta update, which is being rolled out to all users of these wearables. However, Garmin has yet to officially acknowledge this.
It is unclear when all users of the Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3, Fenix E, Tactix 8 AMOLED and Tactix 8 Solar smartwatches will receive software version 21.39. It should be pushed to users automatically when the wearable is connected to the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express software. Another unknown is when a version of this release will be pushed to users of the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED and Fenix 8 Pro AMOLED smartwatches (curr. from $1,188 at Amazon).
