Garmin releases new update with Garmin Coach improvements to older smartwatches

Garmin has moved its older high-end smartwatches onto a new beta update. To recap, the company began rolling out its first v26.xx update to beta testers about a month ago. From then on, it has issued successive updates culminating in Beta Version 26.04 earlier this month.
Now, Garmin has returned to Fenix 7 series beta development with Beta Version 26.06. Available as an over-the-air (OTA) update, Beta Version 26.06 is rolling out across the Enduro 2, Fenix 7, Quatix 7 and Marq Gen 2 (curr. $999 - refurbished on Amazon). However, Garmin is holding back Beta Version 26.06 for Pro-branded smartwatches until an unspecified later date.
The company emphasises that Dive and ECG functionality remains disabled with this new update. Thus, we expect more v26.xx beta updates to arrive throughout April before Garmin transitions development to its stable software branch. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details. The changelog between Beta Versions 26.04 and 26.04 is as follows:
- Fixed text irregularities between the watch and Garmin Connect in the Power Manager app.
- Fixed a potential shutdown issue on the Garmin Coach app.
