Multiple Garmin smartwatches get cellular connectivity improvements with new update

Roughly a week has now passed since Garmin delivered a fresh stable update for smartwatches like the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8 and the Quatix 8. As we covered at the time, the update focused on resolving outstanding issues that were present in System Software 21.25.
For some reason, Garmin decided against bringing the Quatix 8 and Fenix 8 Pro (curr. $1,188 on Amazon) onto the same software package. This discrepancy has now been resolved with the rollout of System Software 21.39 to those smartwatches, too. Only one change appears to separate v21.39 for Pro models, too.
Specifically, Garmin claims to have fixed an issue that could cause a system crash when using LTE functionality. Over half a dozen other bug fixes are included, as well as improved course planner performance. The full changelog between v21.30 and v21.39 for the Quatix 8 Pro and Fenix 8 Pro is as follows:
- Fixes a potential crash when LTE is in use.
- Fixes a potential crash when using headphones.
- Fixes a potential crash when using the HIIT activity.
- Fixes an issue where only one goal alert is shown per day.
- Fixes an issue where strength activities show a black data screen on solar devices.
- Fixes an issue where the sports scores glance is missing from Quatix 8 series.
- Fixes other minor bugs.
- Improves course planner performance.
- Updates translations.
