Another leak confirms the existence of the Oppo Watch X3 Mini

The Oppo Watch X3 is a new smartwatch that was recently unveiled in China alongside the Find N6 foldable smartphone. While there's no confirmation yet of a global release, there's a chance that it might actually be available in other markets as the OnePlus Watch 4. Nevertheless, if you like the new Oppo Watch X3, but think its large 1.5-inch display is a dealbreaker, then you may want to wait for a smaller model.
Just like last year's Oppo Watch X2 got a smaller variant in the form of the Oppo Watch X2 Mini, the Oppo Watch X3 may be getting a smaller model. This is not the first time the existence of this smaller model, which is reported to launch as the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, has surfaced. However, this time, the info comes from Digital Chat Station.
The leaker has revealed a handful of upcoming Oppo products that have been registered, and listed among them is the Oppo Watch X3 Mini. No technical specifications or features have been provided, but based on the Oppo Watch X2 Mini, we can make a few educated guesses.
For example the Oppo Watch X3 Mini should have a smaller case size that houses a smaller display. It should also ship with a smaller battery capacity than that of the Oppo Watch X3, since the overall dimensions will be smaller. We also won't rule out the possibility of the smaller variant missing out on some health tracking features or sporting less-premium materials for its build.
There's no info on when the Oppo Watch X3 Mini will be announced from this source, but the earlier report suggested a release in April. In addition, it is also not known if it will be available outside China, but like the Oppo Watch X2 Mini which is also sold as the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm, there's a chance the Oppo Watch X3 Mini may be sold under the OnePlus brand, too.
