Garmin smartwatch users get improved course planner in new beta update

A new Garmin beta update is on the way to users of the Venu X1, Venu 4 and vivoactive 6 smartwatches. Beta version 16.37 arrived around a month after the last release in the test cycle, beta version 16.28, which added a notification delay feature.
With the new beta version 16.37, Garmin’s Venu X1, Venu 4 and vivoactive 6 smartwatches receive improvements for the course planner feature. It is said to have enhanced performance, though further details are not provided. The release also updates the translation functionality on these wearables.
Plus, included in v16.37 are a range of bug fixes. Garmin has tackled two issues which could cause the vivoactive 6 and related smartwatches to crash unexpectedly: when using headphones or when using the HIIT activity. On top of this, a problem where users were only shown one goal alert on a daily basis has been resolved.
If you own a Garmin Venu X1, Venu 4 and vivoactive 6 smartwatch (curr. $295 at Amazon), and are a member of the beta program, you can download this update by going to the Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates.
