Garmin has now started selling the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 globally, having presented the pair simultaneously last week alongside the HRM 600. Incidentally, the HRM 600 can also be picked up from today, albeit not from third parties like Amazon just yet. For reference, Garmin has priced the HRM 600 at $169.99 for the device's XS-S and M-XL sizes; please see our launch article for technical details.
As for Garmin's latest Forerunner smartwatches, the Forerunner 570 is by far the cheapest of the two at $549.99. Currently, Garmin has stock of all 42 mm and 47 mm finishes, which it offers three in three finishes apiece. The full-colour names for the Forerunner 570 are as follows:
42 mm
- Slate Gray Aluminum with Translucent Black/Black Band
- Cloud Blue Aluminum with Translucent Whitestone/Cloud Blue Band
- Raspberry Aluminum with Translucent Bone/Mango Band
47 mm
- Slate Gray Aluminum with Translucent Black/Black Band
- Amp Yellow Aluminum with Translucent Whitestone/Turquoise Band
- Indigo Aluminum with Translucent Imperial Purple/Indigo Band
Meanwhile, the Forerunner 970 only comes in a 47 mm size just like the Forerunner 965. However, the former is a whopping 50% more expensive than the latter by virtue of Garmin dropping the Forerunner 965's price to $499.99. Please see our Forerunner 970 launch article for full technical details. As it stands, the company's latest $749.99 smartwatch is available in the following finishes.
- Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Case and Black/Translucent Whitestone Band
- Titanium with Whitestone Case and Whitestone/Translucent Amp Yellow Band
- Soft Gold Titanium with French Gray Case and French Gray/Translucent Indigo Band
