Tank S3 Pro: Rugged military smartwatch with large battery and phone call feature launches

The Tank S3 Pro isn't exactly a brand-new smartwatch, but it’s now becoming available at notable retailers including Amazon Germany. It should be listed on Amazon US soon. In Europe, the wearable is listed for €79, but a coupon currently grants a €20 launch discount. It’s unclear if the price will increase after this discount code expires in early June.

That being said, the Rogbid Tank S3 Pro doesn’t have a particularly rich feature set, but it comes with a rather conspicuous case. To be more precise, it’s advertised as a rugged military smartwatch that waterproof up to 5 ATM and should work in ambient temperatures between -40 °F and 158 °F.

Furthermore, this watch features a pretty large 2.06-inch AMOLED display, which is not round but rather angular-shaped and makes the Tank S3 Pro look bulky. The screen has a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels and peak brightness is 800 nits, which is quite a bit darker than other smartwatches.

A GPS module is not onboard, but activities can still be tracked thanks to a step counter and heart rate sensor. The military watch can also measure and analyze blood oxygen, and a probably inaccurate blood pressure monitor is also advertised. Additionally, the Tank S3 Pro can track sleep quality, duration and stress levels and is equipped with a rotating crown and a 710mAh battery, which supposedly lasts for 20 hours with typical use can be charged in around 2 hours. Last but not least, a microphone and speaker are built-in, which means that the smartwatch can be used to make phone calls via Bluetooth.
