Fossibot already offers a range of rugged phones through retailers like Amazon. The company recently expanded its phone lineup with the Fossibot F107 Pro, currently available for preorder at $399 via a Kickstarter campaign. Shipping is expected to begin in July 2025. As with any crowdfunding initiative, potential backers should carefully review the shipping terms and conditions and be aware of the financial risks involved. However, the risks associated with this campaign appear to be relatively manageable.
One of the highlighted features is the camera system, which promises to deliver high-quality colour photos at night – even in complete darkness. Nonetheless, its real-world performance remains uncertain. The F107 Pro is equipped with a 200 MP main shooter, a 50 MP ultrawide and macro camera, and a 32 MP front-facing camera. Measuring 190.1 x 90.6 x 39.95 mm (7.48 x 3.57 x 1.57 in), the bulky chassis houses a 28,000 mAh battery that supports 66-watt fast charging as well as a torch with a maximum output of 372 lumens.
The F107 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor, paired with either 12 or 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of internal storage. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner on the right side, 5G connectivity, and dual SIM slots, one of which can also accommodate a microSD card. According to official specs, the durable phone meets the requirements of MIL-STD-810H, IP69 and IP69K.
