Garmin's new Fenix 8 series of smartwatches has been on the market for almost nine months now, but prices have been very stable as Camelcamelcamel's price history indicates that Amazon has never sold the 47mm AMOLED variant for less than $1,050. Fortunately, the patience of bargain hunters who have been waiting for a decent discount has finally paid off.

Specifically, Amazon has now discounted the Fenix 8 AMOLED to just $899 including free shipping. This smartwatch sale provides savings of $200 or almost 20% in comparison to Garmin's lofty MSRP. This price applies to the popular 47mm version, but the 43mm model is available for the same price. Alternatively, the huge 51mm watch is currently on sale for $999 instead of $1,199.
