Multiple Garmin smartwatches get new workout improvement with latest update

Garmin has been on something of an odd release schedule for the Instinct E, Instinct 3 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED lately (curr. $629.99 on Amazon). Typically, the company issues multiple builds to beta testers before finalising development with a singular stable update. However, Garmin has taken a different path with its v13.xx development branch.
Less than a month has passed since the company released System Software 13.25. Nonetheless, it then issued multiple updates culminating in System Software 13.28 at the end of February with the same changelog as System Software 13.27 that preceded it. Now Garmin has moved on to v13.29, which is exclusive to its Beta Program for the time being.
Surprisingly, v13.29 contains a single new bug fix compared to System Software 13.28. Specifically, the new update should resolve a bug that could cause a crash when using Interval Workouts. Given the company's recent release cadence, v13.29 will soon transition to Garmin's stable software channel as System Software 13.29. In the meantime, please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
