Verdict — Performance Could Use A Boost
This year's Yoga 9 2-in-1 14 G11 brings just a few notable advantages over the already great 2025 Yoga 9 2-in-1 14 G10. In particular, display refresh rate has doubled to 120 Hz for a smoother and more responsive user experience while HDMI now comes integrated for an easier time connecting to external monitors. Other than that, there's little reason to upgrade from the 2025 option. The move from Intel Lunar Lake to Panther Lake may sound significant on paper, but the low-power Core Ultra 7 355 is nearly identical to the Core Ultra 7 258V in terms of raw performance and oftentimes even slower when comparing graphics. Users expecting a performance boost between the 2025 and 2026 models may therefore be disappointed as the Yoga 9 2-in-1 14 G11 does not offer high-power Panther Lake-H or Panther Lake-X options.
Certain aspects this year have even been downgraded including the native resolution and battery capacity. However, the changes are mostly minor anyway as the new 1800p resolution is arguably more than enough considering the 14-inch screen size while battery life is still quite good at over 10 hours of real-world browsing. Users who didn't jump in on the 2025 model may find the smoother 120 Hz refresh rate of the 2026 model to be preferable over a denser 4K native resolution.
For future revisions, we would like to changes to the magnetic pen holder on the outer lid as we find it unreliable when traveling or moving about. The pen falls off rather easily by accident and it discourages users from stacking books or other flat items on top of the system when closed.
Performance hunters may want to consider the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 or MSI Prestige 14 Flip which come with faster AMD Zen 5 and Panther Lake-X CPU options, respectively. The HP even offers the same 1800p 120 Hz OLED touchscreen as our Lenovo.
Pros
Cons
The Lenovo Yoga 9 2-in-1 14IPH11 (or Yoga 9i 2-in-1 14 G11) succeeds last year's Yoga 9i 2-in-1 14 G10. It replaces the Lunar Lake CPU with Panther Lake alongside several other changes to the display and ports. Visually, the chassis remains mostly identical.
Our test unit has been configured with the Core Ultra 7 355 CPU, 32 GB RAM, and 1800p OLED touchscreen for approximately $1900. There are no other CPU or GPU options at the time of writing and so SKUs are limited.
The Yoga 9 2-in-1 14IPH11 competes with other ultrathin prosumer convertibles like the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 or MSI Prestige 14 Flip. The current Dell XPS lineup offers no convertible options.

Specifications
Case
There are only minor changes to the overall chassis this year surrounding the ports and the speaker grilles near the front edges. Otherwise, key features of the Yoga 9 2-in-1 series remain untouched including the integrated speakers along the hinge of the display and the magnetic stylus holder on the outer lid.
Connectivity
The latest model trades away one USB-C port for an HDMI port when compared to last year's Yoga 9 2-in-1 14 design.

Maintenance
Sustainability
The device is both Energy Star 9.0 and EPEAT 1.0 Gold certified. Otherwise, the manufacturer does not explicitly list any recycled materials used during manufacturing.
Accessories
The Lenovo Yoga Pen Gen 2 with carrying case is included in the box alongside the usual USB-C AC adapter and paperwork.
Input Devices
Display
Native resolution from the OLED touchscreen has been lowered from 3840 x 2400 on last year's model to 2880 x 1800 on this latest revision. In turn, the refresh rate has doubled from 60 Hz to 120 Hz for a smoother experience especially when using the included active stylus. Maximum brightness on SDR and HDR modes would reach 508 nits and 1059 nits, respectively, for proper DisplayHDR1000 support.

The display backlight flickers at 966.42 Hz (worst case, e.g., utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 100 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting. The frequency of 966.42 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering. In comparison: 52 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 7600 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured. | |||

System Noise
The dual fans are barely audible when running most low to low-medium loads including browsing and streaming. If gaming, fan noise would pick up quite quickly to almost the same maximum levels that we recorded on last year's model.

Every year, Notebookcheck independently reviews hundreds of laptops and smartphones using standardized procedures to ensure that all results are comparable. We have continuously developed our test methods for around 20 years and set industry standards in the process. In our test labs, high-quality measuring equipment is utilized by experienced technicians and editors. These tests involve a multi-stage validation process. Our complex rating system is based on hundreds of well-founded measurements and benchmarks, which maintains objectivity.
