The biggest failing of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 might just be that it's not as good as its competitors. It probably also doesn't help that Lenovo's soon-to-be-released Yoga Tab Pro is, on paper, considerably better – the pen alone is a hell of an upgrade. So what we have here is an OK tablet, a good but confusing keyboard, and a poor, low-quality pen bundled in.

We’ll have to wait until we get our hands on one of these tablets before we can deliver our full verdict, but the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 does look pretty promising. It seems to be well-made, well-priced and comes equipped with the sorts of AI features that might actually be useful. At a time when RAM and storage prices are set to drive prices of traditional laptops higher than ever, this might be just the thing the market needs. Could Android tablets finally be making a comeback? It certainly looks that way.

Qualcomm Adreno 825: An integrated graphics adapter that debuted in April 2025 alongside the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD 8s Gen 4:
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) is a high-end SoC (system-on-a-chip) that is used in premium smartphones and tablets. It is officially the cheaper alternative to the Snapdragon 8 Elite and is said to be up to 49 percent faster than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The CPU part consists of four clusters: the first consists of a prime core (Cortex X4) with up to 3.2 GHz, the second of three performance cores with up to 3.0 GHz (Cortex A720). The efficiency cluster consists of four power-saving units (Cortex A720), two of which operate at up to 2.8 GHz, while two others clock at up to 2.0 GHz.
