The network slicing market may surpass US$600 million in 6 years

Network slicing refers to the process of sharing a single network (usually for mobile data) between different use-cases (e.g. IoT or VR) in a way that renders the same connectivity optimal for each one. Therefore, its market is likely to benefit from the rise of 5G. A new market research report estimates its value will grow to US$600 million or more by 2026.

The OnePlus 8T Pro likely be an incremental upgrade on the OnePlus 8 Pro.

Official pages prove existence of the OnePlus 8T Pro and OnePlus Clover

Reports surfaced a while ago claiming that OnePlus would only release the OnePlus 8T later this year and not the OnePlus 8T Pro. Those reports appear to have been inaccurate, though, as the company has now uploaded pages for the OnePlus 8T Pro and what appears to be the OnePlus Clover.

Fan-made concept design for a black PlayStation 5. (Image source: Reddit - u/rekrap13)

More PlayStation 5 model numbers hint at DualSense controller variants and even a black console but don't expect a PS5 Pro or 1.65 TB SSD premium pack just yet

More model numbers relating to the PlayStation 5 have appeared online. While many of the model codes are already connected to the console SKUs or PS5 accessories, a few unknown entries certainly hint at different types of DualSense controller. A black PS5 console also seems more likely than a PS5 Pro or 1.65 TB SSD premium pack.

Poor memory OC scaling could be a boon in disguise for the GeForce RTX 3080 (Image source: NVIDIA)

Poor memory OC scaling on the GeForce RTX 3080 might be a blessing in disguise, with closer than expected performance to the GeForce RTX 3090

Leaked overclock benchmarks for the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ampere graphics card were recently published. The tests showed memory clocks pushed 9 percent for a mere 2-3 percent performance gain. This raises questions about the RTX 3080’s performance gap with the RTX 3090, which delivers 936 GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Asus Zephyrus G14 timed exclusivity deal for the AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS might have hurt the processor more than it helped (Image source: Asus)

Asus Zephyrus G14 timed exclusivity deal for the AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS might have hurt the processor more than it helped

Timed exclusivity may work in the world of consoles games, but limiting a great processor to just one laptop and one screen size isn't such a great idea. The limited press coverage and availability of both the Ryzen 7 4800HS and Ryzen 9 4900HS may be attributed to the fact that only just a handful of Asus laptops carry such options.

Huawei unveiled its latest update to its Android skin, EMUI 11, at its 2020 Developer Conference. This involved a teaser video that contains a shot seeming to reference 66 watt (W) charging. Google Play Games now has filters to exclude titles with ads or in-app purchases

Mobile gaming is a growing industry as it can be a fun way to pass the time. However, the enjoyment titles made to be played on your phone can be curbed by the need to complete micro-transactions to proceed, or to watch ads to avoid paying for the same. The games-specific variant of the Google Play Store now has settings to help choose new apps without these drawbacks.

Alleged AMD Radeon RX 6000 "Big Navi" GPU benchmarks leak, trade blows with stock Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

A recent leak of benchmark scores from an unnamed AMD Radeon GPU in Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation may point to how well AMD's upcoming RDNA 2 "Big Navi" graphics cards will perform. While this leak should be taken with a grain of salt, the AMD GPU is about on par with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. However, this puts it roughly 55% behind Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 3080.
