Reviews for the Oppo Find X2 Neo
The Find X2 Neo is almost identical to another model from Oppo. Both have a nice look and mid-range hardware, and an ambitious price tag. Find out how the Oppo smartphone performs in our test here.

The Oppo earned itself a very decent Video score of 97. When shooting 4K video at 30 fps (the settings used in testing), exposure is generally accurate, but as with stills, the Find X2 Neo underexposes in low light. Dynamic range is limited, so expect clipping in high-contrast scenes; scenes with wide dynamic range also push the phone to underexpose. Our testers also noticed exposure instabilities across all conditions. Detail is fairly high in bright light and in typical indoor light, but detail drops in low light, sometimes because of underexposure. Noise is well controlled except when light levels get low.

The Oppo Find X2 Neo has a charming in-hand feel, versatile cameras, great speakers, and a screen worth bragging about. With its competition offering more raw power at a lower price however, it falls just short of being ideal for everyone.

One of the world's thinnest 5G phones, you'd be forgiven for mistaking the Find X2 Neo for a fully-fledged flagship; with a stunning display, versatile cameras, great fast-charging and more. Considering what else is out there, it's a little on the pricey side, but if it's a thin, stylish design you're after the Neo should serve you well for a long time.

If what you're after in a smartphone is something that's elegant and reliable, with a more-than-good-enough display and fluid performance, you'll find the Neo will more than meet your needs. Compared to the premium devices out there it'll save you a packet too.

The Oppo Find X2 Neo is a well balanced phone with a pleasingly skinny form factor and an excellent 90Hz display. It’s a thoroughly decent and dependable mid-range effort, though you can get better performance and software for a similar price from the OnePlus 8.

It's great that the Reno3 Pro 5G has that flagship feel, it offers 5G connectivity, and the overall camera performance is more than just good but it's just not enough to make it stand out. There has to be a dramatic price correction for the phone to stay relevant in this cut-throat upper mid-range market where even last year's flagships are well within reach.

The Find X2 Neo is an incredibly compelling sub-flagship option for those who don’t care that much about wireless charging or having a camera with 10x hybrid zoom. It’s got 5G. It’s got great battery life and it feels more pricey that it actually is.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.81.76%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
